JUBILEE - The Garden Jubilee is a fun filled festival in Historic
Downtown Hendersonville. The two-day event, held Friday &
Saturday of Memorial Day weekend, celebrates spring in the Blue
Ridge Mountains of Western North Carolina. The Blue Ridge Mountains
provide a healthy environment for a vast variety of flowers
and have always been a haven and inspiration for artists, lovers
of the arts and gardeners. The Garden Jubilee offers over 150
vendors selling merchandise and plants to enhance your garden
& lawn, handmade arts and crafts. Discover a world of traditional
and contemporary handmade treasures all within walking distance

BILTMORE
FESTIVAL OF FLOWERS - Spring arrives
in Western North Carolina with a rush of colorful, fragrant
blossoms at the Biltmore Estate. During Festival of Flowers, April 5 - May 18, the estate's seasonal
beauty is showcased with a stunning tulip display in the Walled
Garden, cascades of native and exotic blooms in the natural
gardens and walking trails, and delicate arrangements inside
Biltmore House. On the weekends, Biltmore House offers family
festivities including dance, music, and whimsical skits. Don't
forget that you can get your tickets at The Waverly Inn before
you go!

ROCK PLAYHOUSE ANNOUNCES 2008 SEASON
Flat Rock Playhouse, North Carolina’s state theater, has posted
the 2008 Season List of Plays. This years offerings include:

TOUR de FALLS at
DUPONT STATE FOREST
Want to see several of the beautiful waterfalls in DuPont
State Forest without the hike? May 10 & 11 from 9 AM to
4 PM join the Friends of DuPont Forest on a bus tour of High
Falls, Triple Falls, Bridal Veil Falls, and Lake Julia. A
donation of $10 per person is requested. Buses will be available
at the Buck Forest Access Area on DuPont/Staton Road.
